The 20th annual Bartenders' Ball, one of numerous events that will take place during the Saratoga Springs Winterfest, will run from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, February 11, at the Saratoga Springs City Center, 522 Broadway.The theme will be "Anchors Away! Cruise With CAPTAIN" (presumably not to be confused with the U.S. Navy's official song spelled "Anchors Aweigh.") The capitalization of CAPTAIN refers to the youth and family services organization that will be a recipient of funds raised by the event.
Food will be set up as various nautical ports of call, and a celebrity cruise will be given away. Reservations, priced at $60 per person, may be made by calling 371-1185.
For an extra $40, attendees will be admitted to the CAPTAIN's Lounge where they will receive dedicated registration, coat check service, one drink ticket, a charging station, and a chance to win the CAPTAIN's Lounge raffle.
