Update: Lark + Lily unveils first wine class menu

UPDATE (1/5/17): Silvia Lilly today unveiled the menu for the first winter wine class at her Albany wine bar -- salmon cakes with a lemon dill creme fraiche; curried crepes with curried vegetables and  mango chutney; pan-fried corn pudding with Carolina BBQ pulled pork and wilted garlic greens; cherry-cranberry hand pies.

Lark + Lily Wine Bar and Kitchen has its first three wine classes of the new year on the calendar.
• 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 11. Owner Silvia Lilly says the "theme for the night, in a nod to the date, will be single vineyard bottles." Approximately 10 different wines will be sampled along with four small plates. Reservations, limited to 12 students, will be $40 plus tax and tip.

• 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 8. "Wines our wine 'professor' loves." Approximately 10 different wines will be sampled along with four small plates. Reservations, limited to 12 students, will be $40 plus tax and tip.

• 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. A Roman curriculum for the Ides of March -- Italian wines and food. Approximately 10 different wines will be sampled along with four small plates. Reservations, limited to 12 students, will be $40 plus tax and tip.
