If cider and beer are your thing, the 2nd annual Cider Creek Hard Cider Brew Fest in Steuben County may be of interest.
The event will include tastings of about 40 different ciders and brews, along with camping facilities, live music and fireworks, running from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, My 13, at the event's namesake farm venue.
Cider Creek was founded three years ago in Boston by Kevin and Melanie Collins, but they moved the operation to his family's farm shortly after.
Early bird and VIP tickets already are sold out, but general admission tickets still are available at $40, or $10 for designated drivers.
Cider Creek Hard Cider is located at 6459 Cunningham Creek Road near Canisteo, northwest of Corning. Directions are on the website.
